The Old "Fiesta Marina" also has the new nickname of "Pirates Cove". It is a
Winter Texan haven and many keep the lots year round. We also have several
long term tenants who simply enjoy the lake year round. The park has seen
many improvements for the year and 2009 will bring even more. More premium
sites are being designed to accommodate the larger RV's and give more yard
and storage for an more inviting stay. With 26 acres a gorgeous neighborhood,
55 lots and working on more our facility is welcoming to all.
Winter Texans have use of the main building one day a week. Horseshoes at
4:00 PM and many competitions with cooking. Be sure to check the calender of
events for upcoming specials.
The eleven room motel has been upgraded, with new carpet, new appliances,
some new fixtures, along with giving each room a theme. New comforters,
sheets and towels to personalize each room. Basic cable in all rooms and
Internet connections on lakeside rooms. These accommodations may be
leased long or short term. Monthly guests fit right in with regular crowd.
The restaurant is open with a fantastic menu which changes occasionally
based on customer requests. We still have "All you Can Eat Catfish" which was
high on the customer requests list. The dining area is open and comfortable all
with a view of the lake. We also have an outside deck which is greatly enjoyed
by the boaters. Improvements on the deck shall take place in 2009 with a new
screened dining area. During the holidays portions of the restaurant may be
closed to the public for private parties and weddings.
We have two boat launches for the customers due to the fluctuating water
levels of the lake. We have gas, snacks, some boat supplies also as requested.
We aim to make this a really enjoyable family place and peaceful Winter Texan
haven. We can accommodate most large parties whether it be for fun, family
re-unions, hunters, fishing tournaments, bird watchers, weddings, banquets,
etc.
There is no swimming allowed (ever) in the boat launch area near the pumps.
We have several picnic areas, large RV sites some with a gorgeous water view
and some down in the in trees .
We also have cabins for those who enjoy a more basic stay and outdoor
ambiance. Be sure to check the cabin link.
There are several BBQ pits and area's to accommodate all.
